I just received my Corsa ice axe and make note that it came with a leash (not mentioned in REI's description). With the leash attached mine weighs 10.2 oz.
It is very light weight and all that Ted mentions about it is correct....I would not use it to climb Mt Rainier.....I still like it's feel in my hand.

Hey all-
Looking in to mountain axes right now- does anyone have any experience with
the C.A.M.P Corsa axe? It weighs in at 7.2 ounces.
Other suggestions? Im looking to buy, not rent.
