[pct-l] Buying shelf stable pemmican

Their web site says it will keep safely at room temperature for a week to 
ten days.  That seems sort of iffy to carry on a summer hike...

stable pemmican. Does anyone have any sources?

I've looked but only found products like from the link below that offer soft 
pemmican with virtual no shelf life.
