And for the Bear VAlley bars, the more you buy, the better the price.  
For any trip over 40 days I order 50 to100 bars. When you call Bear 
Valley you talk to a real person.  The first time I ordered over 100 
they actuallycalled to confirm my order and I had a nice conversation 
with the lady.

I think Bear Valley started in Albany CA as a little hippie business 
that's grown over the years.  You can tell that the bars are cooked in 
cookiesheets as some of them have rounded edges and some of them don't.

I would NEVER buy these from REI or any other retailer. You're just 
giving your hard earned money away.

Orders up to 9 bars = $ 1.29 per bar
10 to 29 bars = $ 1.15 per bar
30 to 49 bars = $ 1.10 per bar
50 to 99 bars = $ 1.05 per bar
100 to 149 bars = $ .95 per bar
Orders of 150 or more bars = $.90 per bar
