[pct-l] when replying please trucate your emails

One solution to the annoyingly lengthy digest posts issue that is mentioned occasionally is to change your pct-l settings to no-mail.
Then you can read what you like in the instant archives: 

http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/pct-l/

or

http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/pct-l/2013-February/date.html

And if you see something you want to respond to, copy and paste the subject and relevant content into a new message.  It keeps your
inbox clean and you can be a bit more selective on what you focus on.   This is not the best option for everyone, especially if you
participate more frequently, but it's worked really well for me.
