Amazon is just the first out of the box with the drone idea.  You can bet that if it works at all, that there will be huge numbers of these things going everywhere.  “Honey, I forgot my lunch, can you send our drone with it”.

Alas, it's about 20 miles from the Amazon Distribution Center in San Bernardino, CA, to Mile 342 where the PCT crosses Interstate 15, but Amazon's little choppers are only going to venture 10 miles from their base. Â Otherwise, you could have sox with your Big Mac at the McDonalds near the trail!
