[pct-l] Williamson attempting to regain unsupported PCT speedrecord

IMHO, the trail is whatever it is at the time it is hiked.  If 59 miles are 
closed, the trail does not include that 59 miles.    We're not going to 
encourage people to hike closed portions of the trail so they have a "pure" 
record are we?

I suppose we should let those attempting the "record" worry about that.

One recreational activity I'm slightly involved in simply asks you prove
the route you took and time it took to complete it. There are no official
"records" being kept for it, either.
