Just finished an Oregon section hike, and wanted to mention the kindness extended to several of us by Katie, the owner of Ollalie Lake Resort. There was a major hailstorm, and she helped several of us out by providing shelter. They've gotten some bad press, maybe unfairly. Also, the store there is well equipped with beer, wine, snacks, and Lipton type dinners for resupply.
