[pct-l] Snow Creek TH pick up questions

Not sure if this message went where it was supposed to, so I'll try again.
We are doing the Rte 74 to San Gorgonio pass over Memorial day weekend. Any
hints about getting rides from the Snow Crk TH to Palm Springs? Would a
verizon cell call get to PS from there? or is it just as easy to go to rte
111 and hitch? We are from Seattle and are leaving a car at the other end.
