Yellow HEET:  More or less it's denatured ethyl (drinking) alcohol or methanol (wood alcohol).  I'm a bit hazy on exactly which one it is.
Red HEET (e.g. Iso-HEET):  More or less it's isopropyl (e.g. rubbing) alcohol.
Denatured Alcohol is ethyl (drinking) alcohol that is made poisonous for drinking by addition of methanol (wood alcohol).

Yellow HEET and denatured alcohol are more or less equivalent for usage in hiker alcohol stoves. Both burn cleanly.  Iso-HEET (red bottle HEET) burns sooty, and while it'll work in a pinch, is not the preferred choice.
