[pct-l] Going alone

I think I heard the term "hitch-hiking wife" "trail wife" or something to
refer to hitching a ride with one of the guys (or gals, this is the 21st
century) along the trail instead of going by yourself.  Hitch-hiking might
be the most dangerous aspect of hiking and if you're hiking "in the herd"
grab someone that you've been leap frogging with for the last 5 days along
the trail and "pose" a hitch together into town then separate and go about
your business.  I wouldn't fear hitch-hiking just respect the extremely
remote danger that exists.
