Advice needed: About 10 days ago I started having extreme discomfort after
walking anything more than a mile on a flat surface with no weight...
obviously worried I went to the doctor and just found out I have a
hamstring strain behind my knee due to chronic tendinitis. Doc said with
enough physical therapy it might be better in time for the trail, but that
it might come back as soon as I start hiking. So... do I risk it and leave
my job (and my good health insurance) and continue as planned? Or do I wait
and maybe try again another year? Thoughts?
