[pct-l] Do people start earlier than KO but still attend?

lots of people do this.  Is it cheating?  It depends on YOUR rules, not the PCT community or anyone else.  Is it something you want to do?  Then by all means, do it and enjoy.

I am a first time thru hiker and I am registered for the ADZPCTKO but I am
planning on starting on April 18th.

I have someone who is willing to pick me up around Idyllwild and drive me
down to KO and then drive me BACK to Idyllwild. Lucky me.

Is this common for people to do? Is this "cheating"? Would it break the
flow?
