I wasn't clear, I meant from the Northern Terminus in Manning Park. I'm looking at stuff online now, I was just curious what people may have done. I don't have the hand guide yet, unfortunately.

Greyhound is cheapest. I believe there was a previous post here about bus stations and yogis handguide mentions things also. My greyhound ticket from Ohio to San diego is only $119 so it should be cheap for you. Tickets are half the price a few weeks in advance compared to buying them at the station

Hello again,

So... I'm trying to find the best way to get back to Southern California when getting off the trail. Is there a bus that will take me somewhere I can rent a car, get on a plane or train? This is probably obvious, but I'm not so good with obvious things.

Thanks,
Lindsay
