[pct-l] sleeping bag liner

The liner should not restrict the use of the bag, just add warmth.  But it will restrict your movement inside the bag until you get used to it.  Besides its warm factor, it also helps keep your bag clean and less smelly.  If it opened up (w/ a zipper or velcro), it might not fulfill that function so well.  You will want to wash it and air it out as frequently as possible.

I can't help it.  I'm a designer.  We're just programed like that.
The point you bring up is exactly what's driving me nuts (haha).  I'm
trying to understand the logic of a product having a feature, if the
other product used in conjunction restricts its use.

There is this Cocoon TravelSheet Coupler, but haven't found a retailer
(plus it may not be worth the weight, as you say)... and was wondering
if there are other products similar.  I also found one with velcro,
but the site didn't specify L or R...

Since this is a small detail in comparison, I'm going to move on to
the bigger issues at hand, but the designer in me will continue to
mull.

Don't overthink it.  The sleeping bag liner is just like a comfy sheet.  A
zipper on the liner is unnecessary, which is why you can't find one with a
zipper.
