Hello Cat,

If my memory is correct, Diane might have solved that one. I might be mistaken, but I think I recall her mentioning that.

Have you read her books yet?  I read Piper's Flight and also Adventure and Magic. They are available on ebooks. I can recommend them as a good read - journals of one woman's adventures hiking the PCT. She is skillful in carrying the reader along on the journey. She describes the realities - both the pros and the cons. You really can't put those books down until you finish the journey to Canada WITH her.

Subject: [pct-l] Golite Umbrella Extension

I am trying to figure out a lightweight way to extend my mylar umbrella
(when it's in use) from the side pocket of my backpack (Granite Gear Crown
VC) to over my head so I can have my hands free. Has anyone successfully
rigged something up that works? Would love to hear your ideas.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Cat
