A few for and a few against Mendo fw:'ding the info to USFS.
Who really cares that Mendo sent the info over? Really?
Between PCTA, USFS...and all the rest, it may be there "job"
but, they are the ones that are keeping our trails open and
protected as best as they can, with what they've been given.
The more info they have, whether it be fire/stove related, poodle dog
bush, erosions reports, whatever, I'm most definitely fine if Mendo
or anyone else on this board shares information with those that make it
possible to go out hiking every year, all year.
Although "they" likely don't have the time, I wouldn't be surprised to
learn that most Ranger/USFS/BLM/Border Patrol groups aren't
members on this/these boards anyways. Other than helpful to their
jobs, I imagine many have the same interests as us civs.
In the big-picture opinion, I don't think anyone of us wouldn't trade
in a soda-can-stove for a canister to keep our trails open and useable.
