Some hardcore PCT hikers were at a trailtown saloon.Grizzly says, "You know what the difference between a thru-hiker and the pilgrim dayhikers? The thru hiker picks up M&M’s off the trail and eats them."

Meadow Ed replies, "That is true and they leave smashed bugs on their hiking clothes for later.They might need a snack."

Crash adds, "Do you know how to get four thru-hikers in a box? Tell them they can sleep there."

Strider says, "Do you know how to get thru-hikers to leave?  Tell them they have to pay."

The Kelty Kid adds, "What's the difference between a homeless dayhiker and a thru-hiker?  Gortex."

Yogi has been listening to this discussion and she decides to join in. "How many thru-hikers can fit in a shelter on a rainy night?  There aren't that many thru-hikers."
