[pct-l] rain gear

I bought some Dri Ducks recently. Not very durable but it does not  
rain that much on the PCT and they are cheap and work for wind and  
general lightweight warmth. One might consider that cheap rain gear  
is good enough for all of California and possibly even Oregon  
depending on how early you get there. Then switch to higher quality  
stuff in Washington. I wore rain chaps and an umbrella almost every  
day in Washington and even then I was mostly permanently soaking wet.  
The plants on the side of the trail are very wet and would tear up  
the Dri Ducks for sure, as would the abrasive action of just walking.
