Heather "Mama Bear" and her nine year old daughter Sierra "Monkey" made it to the border on September 23rd.

I have been skeptical about the supposed thru-hike by Barracuda as well.  Every blog of every hiker mentions him until a certain point in California, and then Sparrow's own blog talks about taking time off in August, and I couldn't find anyone who had seen them in Oregon or Southern Washington.  People started running into them suddenly in northern Washington, in what seems like would have been way to many miles to cover in the amount of time they had.  Still a great accomplishment, but I think Monkey is the current record holder as the youngest PCT thru-hiker.
