[pct-l] Sleeping bag help, please

All the silk liners I've ever seen have been really heavy. That's
great there are lighter options.

I have used my Equinox bivy both outside and inside the bag. I used
my bivy just the other night when it was down in the 20s. Since I
sleep with a quilt there can be drafts, especially if I've decided to
prop my legs up higher than my torso, which I did the other night
because my dogs were barking. I was nice and toasty even while my
tent was completely frozen.

I bought that bivy thinking I could be a poncho tarp camper. Well,
I'm not a poncho tarp camper. I brought it this time thinking I might
cowboy camp and it could keep the giant ants out of my sleeping bag.
Well, I'm not a cowboy camper, either. I hate worrying about wind
blowing my stuff away in the night. It's good my bivy has some
usefulness outside its stated purpose.
