[pct-l] Reds Meadow Blow Down

Day hiked yesterday (May 12) from Horseshoe Lake over Mammoth Pass to the
PCT (mile 904) - This is about 3 miles South of Red's Meadow.  Snow base
0-4 feet (at 8,700 ft) and melting FAST!  Encountered many downed trees-
navigation around obstacles not too difficult.  Note:  These are not dead
trees but big (and small) healthy ones - well, they were before the event.
  So, the class of 2012 is shaping up to be the class of the poodle dog
bush and downed trees?  Posted six images online, you can see them here
