[pct-l] kern river levels

My husband and I were up at Kennedy Meadows Monday, May 7, and saw the
South Fork of the Kern River.  Having never seen it before, we had nothing
with which to compare it, so we asked the clerk at the general store.  She
said that the river looks today the way it usually looks in August.  Some
hikers had reported to her that there was no snow on Mt Whitney.
