A kayaking friend of mind just got back from Kernville, and he posted this"

"Oh my poor little Kern, get it while you can! Had a nice weekend on
the upper (around 1200-1300) but ummm, this might be the end of it.
Warm weather might bring it up this weekend, but don't save your
travel for Memorial Day. She gone."

So the runoff flows seem to have peaked. Last year they were going
strong the weekend of July 4th
