Good evening, Ryan,

A few years ago I asked my wife to get me some “paint thinner” and what she
brought home was called new, improved, non-flammable paint thinner, and it
is a milk-white color. It is wretched stuff. I don’t paint, but I use
paint thinner – aka “solvent” or “petroleum distillate” – for degreasing. This
white stuff wasn’t good for dissolving anything that I’ve found, even
though it claims to contain some, unspecified amount of petroleum
distillate.

My experience with thinning GE Silicon Sealer has been with a 100%
petroleum distillate product.
