I assume you are thinking of the ease of ingress and egress for a section
hike. 

The PCT essentially bisects the states of CA, OR, and WA on a N/S axis.
Every commercial airport in those states should be well within a 3 hour
drive of one or more of the (2 WD accessible) PCT road. Note that not all
PCT road crossings are accessible, even with 4WD, unless you really know the
area well.
