Well. Reinhold,
You have revealed my secret, ulterior motives. They will have been uncovered - the legs, that is, for all the dudes to enjoy.

Ed,
Do you realize what you are saying?
Do you realize that many hikers, including myself, do not wear underwear for the freedom, ventilation and UL reason?
If hikers follow your advice they would be crossing the streams fully exposed for all to see and them sea turtles  and trouts snapping at things.
I don't want them sea turtles and trouts snapping at me.

Hhhhmmm....on the other hand it might be rather interesting to watch hiker babes crossing streams.
Yes, stream crossings will become favorite hang outs and lunch breaks for hiker dudes
I think I will wait at Bear Creek for Melanie to cross Bear Creek in her "VictoriasSecret" undies.
Melanie is well known for wearing "VictoriasSecret" on her hikes.
I think allk hiker babes should wear "VictoriasSecret"....they bring out the best in women.

Yes, hiking the PCT will be so much more fun this way....I can't wait for the KO and the first stream crossing.

Thanks for the tip Ed......this will go a long way to mike hiking more popular with the masses.

JMT Reinhold
Your exited trail companion and river crossing lurker.

.....it appears from the last part of the video, that he had his pants on. Too much unnecessary resistance to the current. Better to take the time to remove pants and brave the cold water, and cross with legs bare to reduce resistance. It's that resistance that can sweep you off your feet
