several years ago, over on the Yahoo BPL pages, there were some lightweight folks that were talking about men wearing nylons and equivalent tights in lieu of long johns.  It was a brisk discussion to say the least.  This morning I stumbled across the link http://tinyurl.com/7bcftk4 , and could only think of combining the pair shown in the second row left, with the DNF pattern of Dirty Girl Gaiters seen here:  http://www.dirtygirlgaiters.com/dnf.html

If I saw that coming down the trail at me, it'd make my day.
