It's as though no one wants to be challenged by the trail. Managing water is part of the trip. People want water delivered, they want rides to this place or that place. They want to be catered to at trail angel hostels. They expect a cooler of beer at every road crossing. They want someone to take out their trash.

I think I've reached the old curmudgeon stage of life! :-)

Diane, you walked to the trail. That's what it's about.
