[pct-l] Full Moon Kickback at Horseshoe Meadows

Yes, it is that time again to start  planning for the Horseshoe Meadow 
Kickback out of Lone Pine, CA.  This year  it will be on Friday, August 31.  
This is only for the most  courageous and dedicated backpackers.  It is at 
10,000 feet where most of  the earth's oxygen is below you.  It involves a 
grueling hike of may be 100  feet from your vehicle in the parking lot to your 
campsite with picnic  table.  The PCT is only a few miles away with tremendous 
views of the  Sierras.  The full moon that night should be fantastic.  
Bring your  reflective telescope.  
 
As usual, you are own your own for gear  and supplies and dealing with 
marauding Indians, drug cartel soldiers, and  female leadership terminator 
types.  These are the dangerous T-1000 liquid  metal models.  You see them at PCT 
events and alert dogs and trail  pirates usually growl at them.
