[pct-l] Place to stay in Lone Pine

Whitney Portal Hostel at the corner of Hwy 395 and Whitney Portal Rd. has
shared rooms (4 beds per room), but entire rooms can be rented by single
parties. Prices start at $20.00 per bed. Each room has a bath and shower
and 5 public showers are available on the first floor. The Hostel also has
a store on the first floor, and a large public area for meetings.
