[pct-l] The "Lost" effect on our community

Hello from a longtime list lurker.

At some point we're going to probably want to discuss the potential 
impact of Cheryl Strayed's book on our community (and its potential 
impact on PCT-l).

Perhaps some of the more seasoned AT veterans can speak to what 
happened back there in the years immediately following Bill Bryson's 
"A Walk In The Woods."

I don't imagine 800 members of Oprah's Book Club showing up next 
April at the Campo terminus. But I wouldn't entirely rule it out, 
either.

Just something to think about.
