[pct-l] first-come-first-serve permits for JMT

Hello all,

Anyone have experience with getting first-come-first-serve permits for the
JMT? The website I looked at said there are 12-16 available each day
(depending on trailhead), the day before you're planning to start. How
realistic is it for me to count on this? I haven't been able to find any
info on success/difficulties encountered by people trying this method.
