Yes, I'm Madhu and basically I'm from India.

If you have the above question in mind, it's very natural. As like most
from my country I'm an engineer (duh?) and work for a software giant and
into IT consulting. Now that's fits. If you are curious to know why,
someone once said people from my country are either engineers, doctors or
own a motel! (phew!). Holidays for us means, take family and/or
parents/in-laws to Disneyland, Grand Canyon, Niagara (you know the
list....)............

*This summer, for me its gonna be different. *

I'm sure some of you would have come across people from my country on PCT
thru-hike, pretty sure it would be very few! :-)
