[pct-l] starting from walker pass in late june?

last year i completed my first pct section - campo to walker pass. this
year, my job has interfered a little more with my hiking schedule than i
would have liked it to, and my final commitment will be 6/23. if i were to
aim to be on-trail by 6/25, would that make the final 50 miles to KM
completely impossible or just extremely unpleasant? i figure that the
weather will be far more moderate once i get to the sierras - my primary
concern is starting "so late" in the desert. i need to start thinking
realistically if i'm going to be section hiking the pct this summer (the
alternative is to start accepting work - i'm a musician - and then
configure some amount of free time to allow more local backpacking trips,
on the AT/LT/etc).
also, since my thru-hike last year was, clearly, unsuccessful, i've decided
that i do not want to do sections of the pct "out of order." (on this, my
mind is made up. do not try to confuse me with the facts.)
thanks.
