[pct-l] Marmot Precip

By wets out, I mean that in any rain or wet snow, the jacket gets saturated in minutes. Four of us bought them for a paddling trip in Quetico Provincial Park. None continue to see the jacket as a reliable weather barrier. We bought them from Campmor for $59. Perhaps they were a defective lot - thus the low price - who knows.

I have had the jacket for 4+ years. When I am on a several day backpacking trip, I carry a 4mil X large garbage bag with a hole for my head and arms cut out. I wear the PrerClip over the garbage bag so that I do not look completely like a condom. That's how bad the jacket is.

It is, however a nice 11oz. wind breaker.
