Instead of using your iphone on the trail as a music player, I suggest checking these out.

They use only one AAA battery, hold 4 gigs of data, and weigh only 1 oz!
They also have a built in voice recorder. So if your like me and get tired of writing in a journal every night on the trail, a quick audio journal might be a great option.
You also won't have to worry about draining the battery on your phone.
