Subject: [pct-l] June Lake?

My mom is interested in meeting me at June Lake, as opposed to Mammoth, Reds, or Tuolumne. So I'm wondering if any of you have actually hiked from the PCT to June Lake. I looked at the topo, and it doesn't look that bad, but I'm wondering if I should just push on to Tuolumne and bus down to Lee Vining instead.
