I'm not a women, and I don't even play one on TV.  However, my local outfitter carries several brands , including Columbia, ExOfficio, and Arcteryx.  They have a wide variety of mens' and women's sizes.  I've used Columbia and ExOfficio on the AT and PCT and love them both.

I suggest finding a loc al retailer and trying on several.  I also recommend a light color (to make it easier to spot ticks) and at least one zippered pocket.  I personally like two cargo pockets, since my hip belt covers the regular pockets, but that's a personal choice.

Good luck.
