While it is possible to hitch a ride out from Harts Pass (I did it), you'll
most likely end up in Winthrop.
There is no public transportation there, and it's a 150 mile hitch to
Seattle. That is not an easy hitch.

You might have better luck hitching to Seattle from Rainy Pass. However, if
you backtrack that far, you might as well go all the way to Stehekin, catch
the boat down to Chelan, and take the free county bus to Wenatchee where you
have both Greyhound and an airport.
