Yes, very interesting. I was on a trail work project here in Santa Barbara some years ago and got caught behind the fire lines of the Cachuma Incident.  It was interesting to see the prey animals running from the fire and the predators running toward it. Turkey vultures were hovering directly over the fire line waiting for a warm cooked meal. These animals are much smarter than most people give them credit for. There hadn't been a fire back there in 50 years so the predators must have thought it through themselves.
