Your best bet might be Amtrak. They will have you get off in Stockton and
get on one of their buses and you can take that right into Lodi. I live
roughly 40 minutes outside of Sacramento in the Sierra foothills and I
would normally be very happy to help you with some transportation, but I
will be in LA that weekend. You can get an Amtrak ticket for same day
travel. I am not sure how long it will take you to get to Lodi.
