Water is too easy to find on the JMT. Resupply is too easy, there are
no confusing road walks, and 100% of the JMT is beautiful, probably
the most beautiful section of the whole PCT, unlike the TRT which has
some not so scenic "trails of convenience" sections that used to be
dirt roads, power line roads, etc.

It is also considerably more difficult to bail off the JMT.

For sheer scenic quality of trail, mile for mile, I doubt that the JMT
can be beat anywhere in the world.

IMHO the TRT in more representative of the issues one is likely to
find on the PCT, albeit in much smaller doses.
