[pct-l] santiam pass parking

Good evening, Ted,

There’s a generous trailhead parking lot at Santiam Pass summit. It has
toilets, and the PCT is just a few yards past the east end of the parking
lot.  I suppose that lot is the best place to leave a car, at least it’s
probably better than leaving it parked along the pass highway.

The photo at http://www.trailjournals.com/photos.cfm?id=335261 shows where
the short trailhead road leaves the pass highway about 0.3 miles west of
the PCT crossing marker.  The parking lot is maybe a half-mile beyond the
sign, but I had to stop at that point for obvious reasons.
