Per InciWeb, the closest fires to Crater Lake are the Fort Complex (716  
acres) northeast of Happy Camp, CA and the Barry Point Fire (23,048 acres)  
just west of Lakeview. Neither one is threatening the trail.

Always possible something new has sprung up that isn't on InciWeb yet.
