I've found that those little 6 oz water bottles work very well and are
pretty light - never had one leak, although with Olive Oil I usually also
put the bottle in a ziplock.

I've found that those small energy drink bottles are great for small
liquids too.  They hold about 2 oz.

I usually just find ones folks are thowing out and save them.  I have about
5-10 of each in box with my hiking stuff.
