No cell service?
There are only a few areas left on the map.
I cherish them.
(think someone posted that here before)
I "check-out" from society and all its trappings when I head out on the trail.
I carry my iPhone for emergencys only, otherwise it is turned off in my pack. I have about four different GPS apps on it, and bought it just for that purpose, but have yet mastered how to use it... :)
