I'm looking into different ultralight tent options. The Big Agnes tent is freestanding, but weighs over 2 pounds. Other options: gossamer gear, tarptent, etc., are far lighter, but all require staking. Are there environments on the PCT where staking is impossible? Is the extra weight of the free standing tent worth it? thanks, Nina
