If he obtained them legally, or even had them made himself, there is no 
problem.  However, I haven't found and outlet where you can guy them.

If the guy says they are new and he figured out a way to create copies and 
pick up a few bucks than what is the problem?    People buy the copies as 
mementos or whatever and everyone is happy.
