Here's an interesting comparison (by Consumer Reports) on battery life.  It
states that one set of Energizer Lithium AA takes 4 times more photos than
one set of Duracell Ultra PowerPix AA.  So, the Lithium batteries may cost
more, but in the long run they are cheaper.
