I am a day hiker working this summer to get up to JMT and section  hikes. I 
and my companions pack litter out. Judging by the list of items  found it 
sure sounds like thru hikers. They suck whoever they are. There is no  excuse 
for anyone littering and I would gladly turn them in and make sure they  
knew I turned them in!
